Speaking & Leading Powerfully for Women

The Critical Components to Win Your Audience Over

DO YOU:

  • Get nervous or anxious speaking in front of an audience?
  • Never have enough time to say everything you want to say?
  • Wonder if your message is really being understood?
  • Never quite get the feedback or response you want from what you are saying?

Speaking and Leading Powerfully will impact your mindset, approach and attitude as a Speaker.  What you say, how you say it and how others ‘hear’ what you are saying will be the focus.  Whether you are presenting information, sharing your thoughts, or engaging opinions in front of an audience of any size, after this workshop you will feel more confident and capable to speak and lead powerfully

You will have the tools to be a more effective communicator by:

  • Feeling more focused, grounded and at ease when speaking:  Whether with a client, co-worker or a large group of people, a new sense of ease and increased awareness will be available.
  • Making your words count with the 5 W’s:  Why should your audience listen to what you are saying; What outcome you want from your communications; Who will benefit from what you are saying; Where to interject stories or anecdotes in your presentation; When to request feedback or ask questions of your audience;
  • Maximizing your Message:  Working with very clear intentions to ensure you are furthering your desired outcome with every spoken word
  • Engaging in valuable dialogue:  Answering questions in a meeting; clarifying the questions; looking for understanding and completion
  • Manage Opponents and Objections:  How to handle possible opponents or someone who takes your words ‘personally’ rather than ‘objectively’
  • Win the Moments of Truth:  Identifying and handling the moments of truth in your presentation

BE FOCUSED, BE CONNECTED, BE CONFIDENT, BE CLEAR!

Here’s what some of our clients have said:

My objective and intentions were clear. I was to read the National and International newscasts for the CBC national broadcasting corporation. I have been reading the news for many years but National and International was a very big step for me. The work with Melee and Rae Ellen kept me grounded and in control. It was as though I had roots under my feet and nothing could shake me from my axis. The freedom of breathing kept me on my path. I was present every minute. I knew I didn’t have to worry. I was in the moment. This knowledge gave me an edge over all the obstacles that I encountered on the way.  While on air I felt peaceful but I was also able to have a layer of excitement underneath.

- Pierrette Robillard, Newscast Reader for CBC radio

Marysia has proven to be invaluable to me. I feel that my approach and client awareness has been totally looked after by what and how Marysia directs me. She has opened me up to become completely aware of my capabilities and has narrowed down the very essence for me, of what I do, and who I am doing it for. Marysia has so successfully taught me all the key questions I need to ask and the important things that I need to listen to. Marysia has given me an added confidence in myself and my chosen profession. With her you have a sense of great accomplishment and you know that with her direction it will all come together. Everyone needs a person like that to keep them moving forward.
